Costs and reimbursement of osteopathy and naturopathy

The costs of therapy are billed privately according to the guidelines of the  Alternative practitioner fee schedule – GeBüH or as a treatment fee according to fee agreement

Reimbursement of costs by statutory health insurance (GKV):

The Osteopathy is partially reimbursable by many statutory health insurance companies, such as TK, BKK, HEK, AOK, IKK, BIG and other statutory health insurance companies.

A private prescription or referral from your doctor “Osteopathy“ is usually necessary for reimbursement by statutory health insurance funds.

Reimbursement of private insurance, supplementary insurance and assistance:

All private health insurance companies, benefits, and supplementary insurance policies cover the treatment costs of naturopathic practitioners in whole or in part, provided the services provided by naturopathic practitioners are contractually insured. To be sure whether your private health insurance company will reimburse the treatment costs of naturopathy or osteopathy, you should check your contract beforehand.

Billing is based on the GeBüH (Fee Schedule for Alternative Practitioners) guidelines, based on the actual therapeutic services provided. Since self-payer prices are based on the fee, these also serve as a rough guide for privately insured patients. Slight deviations may occur due to different fee schedules for individual insurance plans.

In principle, the remuneration for our services does not depend on reimbursement from your health insurance company or other service providers.

If your health insurance company or other providers do not reimburse the treatment costs or only partially reimburse them, it is up to you to decide whether you can make a contribution to your health yourself.
